The main manufacturing process for TPP products is plastic injection-moulding. For this the polymer granulate is melted at approx 250 °C and pressed at high pressure into a mould. The number of pieces ejected or removed by a robot after the cooling phase depends on the crucial mould design. An experience of many years in mould design indicates which model suits the product best, for both the quality and the economical aspect. This optimum enables TPP no refrain from slip agents - unwanted foreign substances for the end-user - to remove the part from the mould.
To maintain the high quality standards, it is also essential to interrupt the processing as little as possible. Therefore under clean room conditions automatic transport units perform a careful and clean movement of products or components to the next work station within the manufacturing line. Sub-operations such as surface treatment, ultrasonic welding, pressure testing, printing pressure and the screwing on of closure caps are then performed.
TPP manufactures 24 hours, seven days a week in four working shifts.
