Clipmax 10 cm²

Clipmax is a combination of a cell culture flask and a standard cycloolefin co-polymer (COP) microscope slide (25 x 75 mm) with 10 cm² activated growth area and a removable medium chamber. Grow adherent cells directly onto Clipmax. Remove the chamber, fix and stain the cells and Clipmax is ready for the microscope. Clipmax is particularly useful for virus and mycoplasma testing, chromosome studies, toxicity testing and immunocytology.

Features of Clipmax:
• COP slide
• Refractive index similar to glass (nD 589 nm): 1.52
• UV measurements >300 nm, i.e. suitable for confocal fluorescence microscopy
• Suitable for individual coatings
• Suitable for staining and especially for immunofluorescence measurements
• Activated growth surface area for sensitive cells
• COP is resistant to solvents (e.g. acetone, ethanol, xylene)
• Removable media chamber with a "click" and without the need for removal tools
• Filter screw cap for optimal gas exchange with minimal evaporation
• Initial opening protection

Important note: Clipping off the media chamber is an irreversible process. After unclipping, the chamber can no longer be attached to the slide in a liquid-tight manner.
